As buyers have no doubt heard time and time again, there’s just not a whole lot of time left to find a home and close on it prior to the deadline of Nov. 30 for the first time home buyer tax credit.
Hopefully, buyers won’t be in such a hurry that they’ll skip the very important [...]

It seems that everyday, I have an agent come into my office and ask a question that has something to do with technology regarding the real estate profession.
The majority are just starting to look at the options that are available to become a part of, while others are even more far advanced than myself.
However, one [...]

For the first time since December 2005, we at the Arkansas Realtors® Association released a housing market report that was largely positive.

Arkansas Realtors wanted, no blogging experience necessary

September 18th, 2009 | announcements | No comments

It’s really very obvious that Realtors® aren’t shy when it comes to sharing opinions.
That — actually — is good news. Why? We at the Arkansas Realtors® Association want to hear from some of our opinionated members — yes, we’re looking for volunteers to submit a blog post or two to us when they get time.
Why? [...]

This week, average list prices dropped a bit and inventories — the number of homes for sale — went up slightly in the four areas surveyed as part of the Arkansas Realtors® Association average/median list prices and inventories report.
There were no real surprises in this week’s report, but it is very clear that the homes [...]

Arvest says get that closing scheduled before Nov. 20

September 13th, 2009 | House to House | No comments

I received an email the other day from Tricia Fredinburg – a loan officer with Arvest in Little Rock – stating the lender will guarantee the first time home buyer tax credit to qualified buyers for all closings scheduled to take place on or before Nov. 20.
That initially struck me as odd because the tax [...]
