Wade Rivers — a Realtor® with RE/MAX Mena Real Estate — has been running around our great state of Arkansas promoting his novel, “Y” City. Fortunately, he took a minute or two to drop by and visit with us here at the Arkansas Realtors® Association (ARA).

He described the book as a thriller set in the small Arkansas town of “Y” City. Rivers says the action is intense and the language is clean — you can take a look at the first chapter of the book right this minute by heading over to his Website — WadeRivers.com.

I ran across Rivers and his daughter over the weekend while shopping at the Harps in Benton. Rivers was there selling and signing books (my wife and I bought two copies) and he mentioned that he was touring Harps stores around the state at the request of that company’s executives.

While he was here at the ARA, he was kind enough to set down for an interview. We should have a podcast of that interview up within a week or so — keep an eye out for it.

By the way, the name “Wade Rivers” is a pseudonym for reasons of security. It seems he’d rather not have people looking up where he lives as his book gets released around the country. That makes a lot of sense.
