ARPAC tax credit forms available

TaxBreak 123x150 ARPAC tax credit forms availableThe state of Arkansas has made its political contributions credit form available.

To get a copy of that handy document — AR1800 — just click here.

That’s the form Arkansas Realtors who contributed to the Arkansas Realtors Political Action Committee need to use in order to get credit for their contributions. Individuals can claim a credit of up to $50 and contributors filing joint returns receive up to $100.

If you haven’t contributed to ARPAC yet, take heart — you can still claim a credit on your 2009 Arkansas income tax return if you make a contribution by April 15. So there’s still time to claim your credit before you file your 2009 taxes. Of course, this credit is annual, so we at the ARA hope that people contribute to ARPAC every year — you’ll get that $50 contribution back ($100 for joint filers), so why not send in some cash to the PAC that’s working hard to improve your profession?

By the way, you can thank the hardworking Paula Lee — the ARA Director of Professional Standards, ARPAC and Legislative Affairs — for grabbing a copy of the form as soon as the state made it available.
