We had a home on our block and the owner told us it was a "rent to own" situation. Unfortunately, as in the case of our neighbor, this seems really risky to me. I said at the time "If they don't have the money now, what makes you think they'll get it later?" It was a middle-aged woman with a boat load of loser older kids all living together. As you can see, it failed and the house is up for sale. Whether or not it is for sale by our old neighbor or the renters, we don't know. The whole neighborhood will thank you for explaining this!
