I was speaking to a very good friend of mine today concerning her showing up in google. She was trying to sale the owner of the Real Estate company that she worked for on getting a blogsite up and running for the entire company. When she went to talk to him, she did a Google search on the company to show him the importance of having a blogsite. Lo and behold, her on personal blogsite came up number 2 in the search for the company name. This is a great thing for her, but not for the company. The reason why is there are 9 other spots that are coming up that are competitors.

In a nutshell, we want to be able to dominate Google’s front page when we are searched for. Positive Real Estate Professionals is in a unique position as the name is not that common. In the short time that we have been a network, we now come up 1st, 2nd, 5th, and 8th on page 1 when searching our name. In our case, this is only the tip of the iceberg and we will continue to push forward. In the case of a business that wants to do the same thing, having a website is a must. But, more importantly, having a website that has a blog integrated in it is even more important as this allows for one to add new and fresh content daily.

In closing, I had a “web designer” tell my business partner just the other day that coming up in an SEO search is not relevant to business. If your web designer is telling you that, then contact R & D Art today. It is time for a change.
