Being Found On PREP – Accessing Your Public Profile
I decided to write this post a couple of days ago when I was informed by a PREP member that they were having a difficult time locating their profile on this Real Estate Network when visiting the main site. As you can imagine, this was very disturbing news. Member profiles are the source of contact information for the consumers who regularly visit Positive Real Estate Professionals.
There are at least four separate ways to locate PREP members from the main website.

If you are on the main PREP site (http://positiverealestateprofessionals.com/) locate the center column labeled ‘Members‘ (see the GREEN writing in the image above.) The members are all listed beneath this header and can be sorted in three different ways; Newest, Active, Popular. A visitor to the main site can click on either the avatar (image or logo) of the member or the member’s name. You can access the same member profile information by clicking on the ‘Member’s Name‘ (see the BLUE writing in the image above) from a recent post they have written that is still on the main page. Both of these will open the member’s public profile page (see the image below).
The third way to access the Member’s public profile is by by clicking on the member’s blog title (see the RED writing in the top image above) from a recent post they have written that is still on the main page. Note that the member’s blog can also be accessed from the member’s public profile page by clicking on ‘Blog’ (see the RED writing in the image above.) Both of these options will take visitors to the member’s individual site where hopefully the Member has included their contact info either under an ‘About’ or ‘Bio’ tab or in a side bar. If you have not got this info on your main site and need help, please give either myself or Danny a call and we can help you set it up.
The fourth way that a consumer can get your public profile information from the main page is to click on the Blue members tab to open up an alphabetical listing of all members. The consumer can then search for a particular member using the first letter of either the member’s first or last name. See the image below for an example.
