   Good information Danny. Question though?? How about link exchanges between members of PREP. And how would be the best way to do that? Is it something we should do to make sure we are taking full advantage of the relationship or will it happen with comments on each others sites?

   Hey Fred – Link exchanges are not a bad thing. Google prefers organic links that are not paid for. Organic links also tend to be one-way links from related sites. These carry the most weight. Google doesn’t discount paid links but simply requests that they be separated or identified from non-paid links. This separation between paid and organic links also shows which sites you trust or endorse. Using the rel=no follow attribute also prevents your PR from bleeding onto sites that have paid you to link to them. As for linking among sites on PREP; by virtue of the network the sites are all interconnected already so manual linking to the main site would be redundant. Deep linking to individual posts or pages (non main page) on another member’s site would be beneficial.
