I am fortunate enough to make websites for the Real Estate Home Staging industry, and of course I branch out on occasion to include other industries. (One very bad idea I had was to accept a job creating a website for a lady who makes custom jewelry… I now have a wish list as long as my arm).
One very important page of your website, even if you do not make it visible to site users, is your site map. Search engines love to find all of these relevant links in one place. You can do this very simply by just listing one link after another:
http://www.stagerslistwebsites.com, http://www.stagerslistwebsites.com/test.html, etc.
You could also make a more organized version for your site users, something like this:
- Home Page
- List of all links on the home page, etc.
I know creating links pages can be a large time investment, but it is worth it when you are optimizing your website for the search engines. Make sure to check the links on your site semi-regularly to make sure they are all still valid and point to the right place.
As always, if you need assistance with website design, re-design, maintenance, hosting or virtual assistance, don’t hesitate to contact me!

If you are in the San Francisco East Bay, we’d love to see you at the Dublin Expo on July 15, 2009! (Or fly in for the Expo, it’s nice here).
