LOVE TO LIVE AND PLAY IN THE MOUNTAINS!

Sure I want you to know that Stan Phelps is a realtor for RE/MAX Lakeside in Lake Arrowhead and Service is my Passion, however I also want you to know Stan Phelps the hiker, mountain biker, fisherman, and target shooter.  Lake Arrowhead is located in the San Bernardino mountains and is a great place to live, work, and play!   During the winter months I do most of my hiking.  Yesterday, I walked to the Pinnacles which are on the back side of Lake Arrowhead.  It takes about 2 and 1/2 hours with a little time to eat a snack at what feels like to me the top of the world for a view.   You can see  the 10 interstate, Apple Valley, Silverwood Lake, to the ski slopes near Big Bear from the Pinnacle.   All kinds of wild animals live here, Bears, coyote, bobcats, mountain lions,  deer, and rattlesnakes too.  On this hike I didn’t see any of them, but I did find tracks from a deer and either dogs or coyotes.  The day was near perfect at about 45 degrees and sunny.  I’m not sure if it’s the hard work, great view, or just being out side but I feel very blessed to have been able to enjoy this terrific hike.
